2017 Local History Photographic Awards

Share your family stories and photos and help the Belmont Museum in its mission to preserve and promote the rich history of the City of Belmont and you could win a cash prize of $500!

This year’s competition theme is Celebrating Belmont. Dig out photos of your favourite memories of celebrations in the City of Belmont, from family parties to casual picnics. Bonus points if it also reveals an interesting or unknown aspect of the City of Belmont’s history. That includes Ascot, Kewdale, Redcliffe, Rivervale, Cloverdale and Belmont and areas known under previous names such as South Belmont and Newburn.

Don’t forget to include details of who is in the photo, where and when it was taken, and any interesting or funny stories related to it. The more information, the better!

Entries can be submitted in person, by post or online below.

Posted entries must be addressed to:

Belmont Museum, Locked Bag 379, Cloverdale WA 6985. Hand delivered entries may be dropped off at the Ruth Faulkner Public Library, 215 Wright Street, Cloverdale.
