Application to Amend Suburb Boundaries Belmont /Ascot

The City of Belmont has received an application from the Council of Owners Balneum Apartments of 88 Great Eastern Highway, Belmont requesting that the boundary for the localities of Belmont and Ascot be amended.

The application is for the area outlined on the map below to be amended from Belmont to Ascot.

The City of Belmont has communicated with affected and surrounding property owners requesting the participation and completion of a survey to obtain an indication of support.

The proposed application will be referred to Council for consideration prior to the City of Belmont making a submission to Landgate for final determination as outlined in the Policies and Standards for Geographical Naming in Western Australia 2017 document.
