#BeConnectedCommunity
Welcome to your community. Here you will find a range of initiatives run by the City as well as links to popular external initiatives.
Let's Chalk!
Calling all budding artists - share your chalk drawing skills. We'll provide the chalk and you can bring your talent to a footpath near you!
Here's how you can get involved:
- Register here to pick up 3 washable chalk sticks from the City of Belmont.
- Get inspired by chalk artist Kim Shurman in these videos showing you cool drawing techniques.
- Use our activity guides and templates in the side bar to inspire children to get involved. You can design a Belmonster, a swan or create your own circle pattern.
- Submit photos of your designs here for the chance to be featured on our social pages!
Have you been wondering what the Belmonsters have been getting up to? They've created a memory game!
The Belmonster Memory Game is a card game where the cards are laid face down on a surface and then flipped over two at a time. The aim is to turn over as main pairs of matching cards as you can in order to win! All you need to do is download the cards here and cut them out using the guidelines.
This is a fun way to get the family together and build your memory skills at the same time!

What's On In Belmont
The City has reviewed and updated the terms of reference for our What's On In Belmont Facebook group (operated by the City of Belmont).
We encourage this group to be a positive forum for the Belmont community to share what is happening and to help people connect with each other while we are physically distancing.
Posts can include how your local neighbourhood is helping each other, general positive messages of encouragement, and calls for support or volunteers willing to assist others.
You need to join the group to be able to post, although anyone can view the page. Please note this is for content or information located/relevant to the City of Belmont area (Ascot, Belmont, Cloverdale, Kewdale, Redcliffe, Rivervale.)
