About the Panel

Panel EOI was open from Saturday 5 February and closed Sunday 13 March. Thank you to all who expressed their interest in taking part.

The Trustees (current and successive Councillors of the City of Belmont) are engaging the community to share their views on the future recreational use of the Belmont Trust site.

As well as a broad scale engagement program, a deliberative panel will be convened comprising members of the City of Belmont community to provide recommendations to the trustees.

This 40 person panel will be a representative sample of the whole City of Belmont community. The recruitment of panellists will be recruited in two ways:

• 80% (32 of the 40) recruited by an independent social research company.
• 20% (8 of the 40) recruited by an Expression of Interest (EOI) process.

The final random selection is done by the independent social research company, based on meeting the required demographic profile of the panel.

Note: completing this EOI does not guarantee a place on the panel.

Panel members need to commit to the entire process and will be offered an honorarium of $350 for their participation.
