The City is intending to replace the existing playground equipment at Garvey Park as part of its Playground Asset Renewal Program. The playground will be designed to cater for a range of abilities and ages from 0 – 12.

As Garvey Park is located near the Swan River, the City is intending to use a nature inspired theme for the playground design. This may include the colours and materials used for construction. The location and size will remain similar to the existing playground. The playground's location can be viewed on Google Maps.

The City is undertook public consultation and sought feedback from the community on how we can best facilitate their current and future needs. The survey was open from 15 August 2021 to 6 September 2021.
