The City of Belmont and the Town of Victoria Park are currently updating their Local Emergency Management Arrangements (LEMA). In accordance with State Emergency Management Procedure 8, the final draft is now available for review and comment by the community.
For the purpose of this survey an emergency or risk is an event that could seriously impact/disrupt the normal activities of the community:
- Air, Rail or Road Crash
- Animal and Plant Biosecurity
- Collapse of a Structure or Landform
- Earthquake
- Energy Supply Disruption (Gas, Electric, Fuel)
- Fire
- Hazardous Materials
- Heatwave
- Human Biosecurity
- Severe Weather (Storm, Flood, Cyclone)
- Terrorist Act
