We're developing a new Urban Forest Strategy to support a greener City of Belmont
Trees and canopy cover are vital to a thriving city, offering essential benefits such as cooling urban areas, providing shade, improving air quality, managing stormwater, and supporting local wildlife habitats.
The new Urban Forest Strategy is being developed to retain and enhance these green assets through a best practice framework for policy, management practices and future planning.
