Two significant town planning projects are underway in Ascot:

  • The City of Belmont's Golden Gateway Local Structure Plan, and
  • Perth Racing's planning project for their Ascot Racecourse landholdings.

While these planning projects overlap, they are distinctly separate from each other.

  • Golden Gateway Local Structure Plan

    This local structure plan will coordinate the future subdivision, zoning, and development of the Golden Gateway precinct, an area generally bounded by Great Eastern Highway, the Swan River, the Ascot Waters precinct, and Ascot Racecourse.
